How To Draw a Cute Giraffe Step By Step
Step 1 – Draw the nose
Start by drawing a round nose with two small nostrils. Keep the shape simple and centered. Above the nose, add two short vertical lines to give the face a bit more detail and structure.
Step 2 – Add the big eyes
Draw two big, shiny cartoon eyes on each side of the face. Make them round and bright so the giraffe looks friendly. Add a few eyelashes to each eye to make the giraffe look extra cute and expressive.
Step 3 – Draw the Headshape
Draw the full shape of the giraffe’s face around the eyes and nose, keeping it smooth and rounded. Then add two big ears on each side of the head, making them wide and slightly pointed. After that, draw the two short giraffe horns on top of the head. Keep them small and simple to match the cute style.
Step 4 – Add details on the face
Draw a few small spots on each cheek to give the giraffe a cute pattern. Add some tiny lines on the horns to show simple details. Then draw shapes inside each ear to show the ear folds. Don't forget to add the eyebrows.
Step 5 – Draw the body and legs
From the neck, draw the outline of the giraffe’s body, making it long and smooth. Then add four long, thin legs at the bottom. Keep the legs straight and simple so the giraffe looks tall and gentle.
Step 6 – Add the mane and tail
Draw a wavy line going down the back of the giraffe’s neck to make the mane. Keep the waves soft and simple. Then, at the back of the body, draw a long tail with a fluffy tip at the end to finish it off.
Step 7 – Draw the giraffe’s spots
Add lots of rounded, uneven shapes all over the giraffe’s neck, body, and legs to make its spots. Keep the shapes different sizes and spread them out so the pattern looks natural.
Step 8 – Finish Cute Giraffe Drawing
Go over your whole drawing with smooth, clean lines to make everything look neat. Then gently erase any rough or extra sketch lines. This will leave you with a clean and finished drawing of your cute giraffe.
