How To Draw Lapras Step By Step
Step 1 – Draw the Eye
Start by drawing a single eye using an almond shape. Add the pupil, iris, and a short curved line above the eye.
Step 2 – Draw the Face
Draw the front of the head around the eye. Shape the rounded snout, add the small nostril, and finish the lower jaw with a smooth curved line.
Step 3 – Draw the Head Crest
Draw the two curled ear-like crests on top of the head. Make one smaller curved crest and one larger spiral crest behind it.
Step 4 – Draw the Neck
Extend two long, gently curved lines downward from the head to create Lapras's long neck. Keep the lines smooth and slightly tapered.
Step 5 – Draw the Shell
Draw the large shell resting against Lapras's body. Add the rounded outer shape and include the raised bumps and curved details across the shell.
Step 6 – Draw the Body
Draw the outline of Lapras's body around the shell. Add the curved underside and complete the body with a smooth outer edge that follows the shell's shape.
Step 7 – Draw the Flippers
Draw the large front flipper and the rear flippers extending outward from the body. Shape each flipper with broad, rounded ends and smooth curves.
Step 8 – Finish the Drawing
Trace the complete outline of Lapras. Erase the extra sketch lines and clean up the remaining details to complete the drawing.
