How To Draw Anger Step By Step

This step-by-step guide will teach you how to draw Anger, the fiery and passionate character from Inside Out 2. Follow the instructions and reference image to recreate his bold features and expressive design. This guide is perfect for artists of any skill level, offering clear steps to help you sketch Anger’s distinctive appearance with ease.

Step 1

Step 1 - Draw the Eyes

Start drawing two angry oval eyes connecting with each other, leaving a small gap between them. Add bold pupils to give him an intense expression.

Step 2

Step 2 - Drawing the Face Shape

Draw a large rectangular shape for Anger’s head with slightly curved edges. Beneath the head, draw a triangular collar shape for the shirt.

Step 3

Step 3 - Add Facial Features and Tie

Above the eyes draw a curved line for eyebrows and below the eyes, draw a large rectangle with rounded edges for the mouth. Inside the mouth, sketch two rows of sharp rectangular teeth to give him his signature furious look. Beneath the head, draw a neatly tied tie in the center.

Step 4

Step 4 - Draw the Arms and Fists

On either side of the collar, add two large arms bent at the elbows. At the ends of the arms, draw clenched fists with strong, bold lines to emphasize his anger. Make sure the arms are proportionate to the body.

Step 5

Step 5 - Add the Shirt Belt

Draw horizontal lines connecting the fists with the tie representing a belt-like pattern. Add small vertical lines inside the belt.

Step 6

Step 6 - Draw the Legs and Shorts

Below the shirt, sketch two short, wide legs. Add rectangular shorts with cuffs to complete the lower half of Anger’s body. Keep the lines strong and symmetrical for a polished look.

Step 7

Step 7 - Finalize the Drawing

Go over the entire drawing with clean, bold lines to define the final look. Erase any unnecessary pencil marks, and your drawing of Anger from Inside Out 2 is complete!
